JBL Sansibar Grey

I was worried about clouding the water, but this fine sand settled clear within just a few hours. The 0.2-0.6mm grain is perfectly sized for my corydoras to sift through without damaging their barbels.

The tiny grain size makes it so easy to create a natural slope that stays put. My plants rooted in just a few days, and the fine texture looks more realistic than the chunky gravel I used before.

Finally a substrate that holds my plants exactly where I place them without floating up. The fine 0.2–0.6 mm grains feel like soft sand and don’t cloud the water even when I’m replanting. My corydoras love sifting through it too.
