Echinodorus uruguayensis AQUADIP

The leaves arrived a bit wider and more vibrant than the photos suggested, which was a nice surprise for a 5 cm pot. I've had it in a cooler tank for a week now and it’s already sending out a new leaf, so the root system seems solid.

Roots were already pushing through the 5 cm pot, which tells me it was grown properly and not just thrown in. I've had it in cooler tank water for a week and the leaves haven't melted a bit, so it's clearly adapted to the subtropical conditions it's meant for.

The pot was still nicely moist when it got here, so the roots had zero shock—I just dropped it into my cooler tank and the leaves perked up within a couple days. It’s already throwing out a new leaf from the center, which tells me the cool-water setup is exactly what this Uruguay sword wanted.
