Aquael SAS 500 Filter Skimmer
Category: Aquarium Filtration
The SAS 500 Surface Skimmer is a small, internal filter designed to clean the top layer of water in your aquarium. This layer is prone to developing unsightly surface scums, made up of dust, protein films, and/or plant residue. This surface skimmer eliminates these films and, in doing so, not only improves the aesthetics of your aquarium, but oxygen exchange and light penetration too.
The Aquael SAS 500 Surface Skimmer is equipped with a range of fantastic features, including:
- Adjustable flow rate allows you to adjust skimmer’s output to suit the needs of your aquarium
- Compact design, suitable for small aquariums as well as large aquariums
- High capacity, energy saving pump makes it suitable for aquariums up to 500L
- Maintenance-free float that automatically adjusts to the changing water levels in your aquarium
- Comes with suction cups for easy and secure attachment to the inside of your aquarium
- Built-in sponge pre-filter prevents shrimp and small fish from accidentally entering the motor compartment
