Easy-Life Bio-Exit Silicate – Silicate Remover / Binder

Easy-Life Bio-Exit Silicate neutralizes silicates quickly and efficiently. Silicates are found in tap water and can be released from the substrate. They promote the growth of diatoms (type of algae) which form unsightly brown deposits on sand, gravel, plants, and other surfaces in the aquarium. Bio-Exit Silicate rapidly combats this problem.

The neutralising action is really fast, which is a relief compared to other binders I've tried. A solid solution for anyone battling brown algae from tap wa

Carter E. ★★★★★

My tap water was driving me crazy with brown algae blooms, but after a week of using this the silicates are finally under control and the glass stays clean. Works exactly as described without any harsh chemicals.

Been using this for a few weeks now, and it really does bind silicates from the substrate as advertised. The liquid formula mixes easily with tank water without any cloudiness. Only minor quibble is it took about three days to see a noticeable drop in my test readings.
