The surface is rough enough that my Java moss finally stayed put without glue, which was a nice surprise. My bristlenose disappeared into it within five minutes and hasn't come out stressed since. Just wish it were a touch wider for bigger fish, but it's perfect for the size listed.

My pleco took to this ceramic cave immediately. The open design is perfect for attaching a bit of moss, and it stays put on the substrate without tipping over.

Swapped out the plastic cave for this ceramic one and my shy corydoras came right out to explore. The flat top is perfect for attaching a bit of java moss, really natural look.
