Tetra CV4 Non-return Valve

The fitting of a Tetra CV4 Protective Check Valve allows the air pump to be positioned lower than the level of the water (underneath the aquarium). Using one of these will protect the air pump, making sure that no water can 'back-siphon' and enter when it is switched off or during a power failure. This is maintenance-free and fits standard 6mm aquarium airline.

Emily ★★★★★

I’m really glad this check valve lets me place my air pump below the aquarium without worrying about backflow—installation took under a minute. The clear plastic makes it easy to see if water’s getting past, which gives me peace of mind.

Victoria S. ★★★★★

The valve clicks in with a satisfying snap, and the water stays put even when the pump is running below the tank. I tested it with a slight drop in the airline and it held its seal perfectly.

James X. ★★★★★

Finally set the air pump below the tank without worrying about a siphon, and it's been holding steady for three weeks now. The valve seats snugly into the tubing, no leaks at all. Exactly what I needed for a clean setup.
