JBL Sansibar White

The fine grain size really locks in around plant roots without clouding the water. I’ve had this in my freshwater tank for two weeks and everything looks clean and natural.

For a planted tank, getting roots to actually stay put without floating up is a constant battle, and this white sand nails it with that fine 0.2-0.6 mm grain. My corydoras sift through it constantly, yet it holds its shape and doesn't cloud the water even after a rescape.

The fine grain settled beautifully in my tank and my plants rooted firmly within a week. The white color really makes the fish pop and keeps the water crystal clear.
