Seachem Flourite 沙

My crypts have rooted much faster in this clay-based sand compared to the inert gravel I used before. The dark speckled color really makes the green leaves pop, and it doesn't seem to compact too much when I push plant roots down.

I was worried the sand might cloud the water too much, but after a gentle rinse it settled beautifully and my plants rooted into it almost immediately. The stable porous grains hold their shape perfectly without breaking down over time.

The porous texture of this clay gravel really helps my plant roots take hold without compacting too much. It settled quickly after rinsing, and the sand actually stays in place when my corydoras dig around. Water stayed clear the next day, which was a relief.
