Seachem Matrix Carbon

After battling cloudy water for weeks, these carbon spheres cleared it up overnight without messing with my pH. The low ash content was a big plus since my discus are sensitive.

I was worried about phosphate spikes from new carbon, but this stuff kept levels undetectable after a month. The spherical shape really seems to pack more surface area into the media bag. Definitely sticking with it for future water changes.

My tank's pH stayed rock steady after switching to this carbon—that low ash content is the real deal. Phosphate readings dropped to nearly undetectable too, which my corals clearly appreciate.
