Aquadip Anubias hastifolia

Plant in 5 cm pot.

This Anubias variety is best used in the background of larger aquaria. It is very distinctive with its long stalks and unique leaf base shape. Older leaves form arrow-shaped leaf blades, which are not visible when the plant is still juvenile. Given time, mature plants can reach up to 1 m in size in a very large and open aquarium. Easily satisfied when it comes to care, although leaves that are too large can be removed. Cut the stalk directly next to the rhizome.

All plants arrive potted in rock wool, please note: you have to take the plants out of the pot and plant it to guarantee proper growth and avoid rotting of the roots. Plants are natural items and can vary in size when they get delivered. All photos are examples only. The sizing further up references to fully grown plants.

David ★★★★★

I’ve had this Anubias in my 75-gallon for two weeks and the unique leaf base shape really adds a bold texture to the background. The roots are already gripping the driftwood nicely.

Lucy T. ★★★★★

I was impressed by the unique leaf base shape on this plant—it really stands out in my 75-gallon tank. The long stalks stretch nicely toward the background, filling the space without overwhelming the foreground. It's settled in well after a week and the older leaves are already showing new growth.

Ryan S. ★★★★★

The long stalks on this plant add great height to the back of my tank, and the leaf shape is really distinct. It rooted quickly in my substrate and has stayed healthy for the past two weeks.
