Hairgrass

Eleocharis acicularis is very common and thrives in almost all conditions in an aquarium. An open space without shading from other plants is still preferable.

After planting, the roots will start colonizing the surroundings, creating a beautiful carpet of 6-15 cm height. If the carpet grows too tall, you may carefully cut it back to the preferred height.

All Dennerle Plant-It! In-Vitro plants are cultivated under sterile conditions. This ensures that there are no pest infestations or pathogens present. Additionally, there are no algae, snails, or snail eggs. These are very compact, highly branched plants. The submerged habit eliminates the changeover phase from emersed to submerged in the aquarium.

Natalie V. ★★★★★

Took off in my low-tech tank even faster than I expected, and the roots held tight in the substrate within a week. The open space I gave it really made a difference—no melting or yellowing at all.

Madison ★★★★★

Planted it in a bright spot as instructed, and the hairgrass took off faster than I expected—nice dense clumps forming within a couple weeks. My corydoras love weaving through the stems.

George D. ★★★★★

The roots spread through the substrate much faster than I expected, and it's already carpeting the foreground after just two weeks. I really like how it fills in the open space without overshadowing my other plants.
