Category: Aquarium Plants

Rotala 'H’ra' has rather narrow leaves and an overhanging or creeping growth. It is probably a variation of Rotala rotundifolia and has much resemblance to Rotala sp. ‘Green’.

High light levels, good fertilization and added CO2 will induce almost exclusively creeping growth and a warm, rich orange coloration.  This makes it possible to create a dense, orange mid-ground cushion or even an unusual, orange foreground carpet.

All Dennerle Plant-It! In-Vitro plants are cultivated under sterile conditions. This ensures that there are no pest infestations or pathogens present. Additionally, there are no algae, snails, or snail eggs. These are very compact, highly branched plants. The submerged habit eliminates the changeover phase from emersed to submerged in the aquarium.

Richard ★★★★★

The creeping growth habit is perfect for filling in the midground, and the narrow leaves really pop under high light. I’ve had mine for two weeks and it’s already started sending out side shoots, exactly what I wanted.

Christopher R. ★★★★★

The narrow leaves are exactly as described, and the creeping growth has filled in beautifully along the substrate. Even under moderate light, it’s kept its delicate reddish tint without any melt or fuss.

Avery ★★★★★

I’ve been giving it strong light for a week and the narrow leaves are already turning a deeper pink near the tips. It’s creeping along nicely across the substrate, just as described.
